- Established Neighborhood Family Club (NFC) at village level and Tehsil level; evolving “Bal Sabha”(200 Boys), “Kisan Sabha”(10 groups) and “Yuva Jagran Manch (225 youths including both male and female) in the Alwar District. It accelerated the socio-economic growth of the grass root people through participation and capacity building.
- Strengthened and consolidated the capacity, human values and Self confidence of the rural children and youth through Conscious awareness/ Yoga camps (15), which benefitted 250 school children of Thanagazi Tehsil.
- 160 women and girls residing in 6 villages of Thanagazi Tehsil participated in the educational and literacy enhancement programmes organized at 8 educational centers.
- 4 Awareness camps and 2 Village rallies were organized in the 2008-2009, which was participated upon by 900 villagers. It benefitted them a lot since it made them aware on the relevant social, economic, political and human issues pertaining to education, livelihoods, watershed management, social forestry, Health and sanitary awareness, human values and corruption.
- To fulfill its mandate of promoting Skill development and employment generation, 170 rural young girls and women were imparted Training in Sewing and tailoring through 8 Silai Centers established in 4 Villages. The organization is tying up with its partners to provide 100 Sewing machines to women beneficiaries.
- 60 women are trained up in different Handicraft skills like Doll making, flower making, art items etc. Local Master trainer are being prepared for the expansion programme. The programme is promoting traditional handicrafts industry through training, skill up gradation and Marketing linkages with Handicrafts centers being at nucleus.
- 350 women are being empowered through formation of 35 SHGs groups in the Thanagazi Tehsil. We support them through assistance in SHG formation, capacity building and handholding. These SHGs are emerging as a change agents.
- Promoting qualitative education through Training and awareness programme for government school teachers
- Organized 4 Health Check up Camps, which benefitted more than 200 people, which includes 40 successful cataract eye operations.
- 100 students of 10th and 12th class pass out from poor families of the area have been given scholarship worth Rs. 3000 till now thus motivating them a lot to go for higher studies.
