Young people between 15 to 25 years age are the highest resource for the development of any country; especially country like India needs to empower this source, as we Indians believe strongly that "Aaj Ka Yuva Hi Kal Ka Desh Ka Bhavishya Hai". But where as in India, particularly rural youth have been neglected by all means. More than
70% of population of India lives in rural areas and these rural youth has been totally neglected due to so many reasons. Until and unless we provide and open all
possibilities to expose rural youth to develop personalities and access for technology development, we cannot find India as a developed country and it is the known fact
In fact, young people who are given early access to information and technologies tend to become early adopters and adapters of the technologies, skills valued for
uplifting the society in respect of economic, social, political and spiritual spurring innovation in new ideas.
Youth are at the forefront of societal transformation. Youth people’s high level of social consciousness are often underestimated, but they care about many things including climate change and the environment, the spread of HIV and other diseases , economic inequality and the lake of unemployment opportunities, social justice and human rights.
Where as we find throughout India, and in other countries youth empowerment program means, all plans and trainings, workshops oriented on economic and unemployment problems only. In fact economic uplift and overcoming of unemployment problem is one aspect of development only.
Pragya Chaitanya Foundation Trust (P.C.F.T.) believes that and also fact is where there is no unemployment and economically forward countries like U.S.A and Germany,
still problem lies and may be they different in nature but problems exist. Hence PCFT wants to implement an integrated project for neglected rural youth to guide them for channelizing their energy in positive direction for constructive and creative results for themselves, society and for nation in the name of YUVA CHAITANYA JAGRAN MANCH
to empower the rural youth in all aspects to become a responsible, committed and sincere citizen of the country. The program would be implemented in Rajasthan
state at Alwar district.

Objects of the Program
The total population of Alwar district, Rajasthan is estimated to be around 29.91 lacks (senses 2001).and around 85.47% people live in rural area, Out of above rural population approx 55% is youth between 15 to 25 years age group. The literacy rate is 39.16% out of this around 25% rural youth are still unemployed who belongs to vulnerable economic strata of the society consisting of uneducated, semi educated and ill-educated or illiterate groups. Most importantly, among this youth about 30% of them are unemployed and are dispirited. Most of them are hailing from lower middle classes and from families living below poverty line.
There are no planes program/schemes to utilize such a huge human resource. Situation demands that the respective Government, U.N. Agencies, N.G.O’s, Social workers, local bodies etc., should address this problem on priority basis for exploring the "potential of the youth" for nation building activity and sustainable livelihood. Initially we are starting this project in 40 villages every year.
IM PACT ON SOCIO – ECONOMIC SCENARIO
As such, the unemployment problem of rural youth need to be addressed by equipping themselves with rural friendly technologies, through skill development and capacity building so that they can have a good path for the meaningful life and to encourage self employment. Perhaps such intervention may decisively help to pull them above poverty line. In this contest, the skill development training to rural youth is of immense value and assumes significances in bringing out revolutnary changes in socio-economic scenario of rural areas. A sincere effort in this direction would not only pave the way for economic rejuvenation but also create congenial social atmosphere for improved societal relationship and uplift the economy by blowing fresh breeze in to rural life and the life of disport youth.
DIVERTING RURAL YOUTH FROM DISTRACTION
There by the younger generation with full of energy, talent, creativity and volatile psychological fervor will be provided with a positive direction to earn decent livelihood; so that the vulnerability of their distraction to destructive/extremist/anti social activity will be averted.
In the absences of appropriate avenues, such unemployment but potential youth, who are desperately seeking livelihood is likely to be frustrated and charmed with extraneous methods for income generation. Vary often they are attracted towards:
- Anti-social and unlawful activities
- Extremist philosophy and
- Fractional politics
In achieving social harmony and economic development in rural areas, the training programes tailored by P.C.F.T. play pivotal role in providing solace to the frasteded minds. The above category of frustrated and estranged boys and girls will be looking forward for some livelihood for income generation, so that they can lead socially respectful life in the villages. This kind of potential human resources with talent, creativity and inexhaustive level energy should be transformed in to income generating force for better livelihood. There by, the unemployed rural youth can be involved in positive activity of empowering the rural energies available in the vacinity, so that they may not be attracted by anti-social activities or frustrated into extremism.
Education Scenario
Out of the literacy percentage in the area very few percent 6 or 7 only reach beyond higher secondary schools and in the case of girls the percentage is very less. Hence the following youth can be benefited out of this program

Lot of youth especially girls will be dying at the age of 15 or 16 due to genie problems or at the time of delivery and found lot of discrepancies in relationship due lake of better understanding in the family.
Social justice and law and order awareness :-

Environment and pollution scenario
It is observed that village people are cutting the trees and forest for their cooking purpose with out any hesitation. With this yuva chaitanya jagaran manch. Plantation will be done so that the forest can be developed with in a span of five years.
Watershed Management
Through out Rajasthan the ground water level has been drastically decreased especially in Alwar district Aravali area there is no availability of drinking water even. Hence it is very essential to train these youth watershed management techniques so that water level of the ground can be increase and animal husbandry can be developed.
Handicraft Development
It is learnt from the history in the Alwar district people were having very good handicraft skills in their houses. PCFT wants to develop this hereditary handicraft technology and inculcate the youth for self employment through the training program and develop the handicraft hubs.
Computer Training
PCFT will open the computer training centers in the 12 blocks in the district so that the rural youth will be acquainted with latest events and technology.
