The well-known fact is that the Central and State Governments allocate crores of rupees in the budget for rural development programs. For the past 20 years N.G.O concept has become very familiar and they are doing their best to the rural India. Most of the seemingly well conceived anti-poverty programs of the Central and State Governments seems to be failed to bring about the desired results.
Naturally the question sprang up; why? The centrally planned, rigid, individual-oriented poverty eradication programs of the past didn't give any room at all for the involvement and commitment of the poor and viewed the poor only as resource less and 'receivers of benefits'. Poverty is a multi-faced sorry state of deprivation. Hence, by meeting in one angle in the lives of the poor the total poverty cannot be eradicated or mitigated. Naturally, the un-co-ordinated income criteria based programmes implemented by different agencies did not give good results.

Moreover, though the delivery costs of such programmes were exorbitant, they were very much susceptible to under-reporting and manipulations. Therefore, the real fact is that the helpless people are remaining helplessly as benefits are not reaching to the gross root level. The Trust has given a very keen inplight on the draw backs in the prevailing practical working system.
For the past several years Shree Chaitanya guru ji was working on the practical system. So that the grass root level people in the society must be empowered. In this context he found community based organization system ,which was started before 45 years in Latin America and Netherlands. This system successfully running in South India by NCN World in Tamilnadu and poverty eradication mission in kerala by Kudumbshree since 15-20 years. Guruji visited personally and coveinced himself that the real sociocracy can be brought through this Community Based Organisation (CBO) only. |
