True development is a perfect transformation from dependency to self-reliance. The word development bringsforth several concepts and thoughts like growth, progress, improved living conditions and better physical amenities. But above all these, development is a change; a total change from the existing social set up to a superior one in every respect. Developmental process attains success or gets the supreme status of a revolution, only when every member of the society gets the benefit of the changes. True development brings about changes in thoughts, perceptions, approaches and social behavior of each individual belonging to the society where the insurgence is about to happen.
Since the independence of India, Central Government and the State Governments have been implementing programmes and schemes for the upliftment of the poor and for the eradication of poverty. But the big dragon poverty continues to spout its dark fire over the nation.
In this connection Trust has undertaken with the able guidance of Guru ji working on NHG ( NEIGHBORHOOD COMMUNITY GROUP) system at Paddag Chhapli panchayat, Alwar Distt. Rajasthan, INDIA in order to establish community based organization (CBO). The panchayat has 6 villages and total population of the panchayat is 5855 out of SC are 1612 and ST 762 .Each NHG has 40-45 nos’s of families. The children have been formed 2 bal sabhas i.e. from the age of 6-13 years one children group and from 14-18 years adolescent group. The topographical map has been prepared and a team of engineers has visited the villages and prepared villages plan along with proposed drawings for construction and development activities to be taken up in the panchayat. |
